So what tips do you have for making armor, like Shepard n7 gear or hawkes armor

As much as I wanted to make this myself I just didn't have the time or skill to put into it. So I got the lovely :iconstatic-sidhe: to put it together.

(It's funny I plan on doing Shepard's N7 armor too :3)
But I mean it all depends on what you want to make it out of. Like for instance a lot of people use craft foam for armor. So far this is my fave tutorial for it. [link]

For Shep I notice almost everyone uses EVA foam for his/her armor (the texture looks so much a like.)[link]
